Hello, my name is Jacquelyn Laszlo and I am from Centerport, NY. I graduated with my bachelors degree in ASL/English Interpreting with a minor in Human Services from Northeastern University. Since graduating, I work as a freelance interpreter on Long Island, as well as a VRS Interpreter from home with Sorenson, and a staff interpreter at Helen Keller National Center.

Hello all! My name is Sammi Wade I am from Commack, NY but now reside in Astoria, Queens. I graduated from Bloomsburg University with my bachelors in ASL/English Interpreting in December of 2020 and have been working as a freelance interpreter ever since. When I am not interpreting, I work as a fitness instructor at Pure Barre!

Surprise!! in addition to being the treasurer for LIRID, I am also the fundraising chair for LIRID. Again, my name is Deanna Paff (Brown). Hello! My name is Hailey Sweeney, I am a hearing interpreter and graduate from Bloomsburg University’s ITP. I have lived on Long Island my whole life but also do a lot of work in the NYC area. Fun fact about me: I recently became a spin class instructor at Crunch!
I have been an Interpreter for eight years. I was previously on the Steering committee. I am originally from Arizona but have been living on Long Island the last ten years.
